Long ago, before the time when the indigenous peoples of this land suffered terrible atrocities, Navajo Twin Prophets of old foretold Their eventual return. In 1962, a small group of Navajos recognized that the Baha'i Faith fulfilled their ancient prophesies and a Council Fire was planned to share this news with their relatives on the Navajo Nation. The First Native Baha'i Council Fire, held between the Four Sacred Mountains in Pine Springs, AZ, attracted almost 1,000 people from the four corners of the earth bringing together many tribal leaders and international travelers. Liao Chongzhen: A Bright Candle of the World of Humanity
The Bahá'í Faith was first introduced in China during the lifetime of Bahá’u'lláh. It is considered by the Bahá'í Faith as a country with a great future spiritually. Some outstanding Chinese joined the Faith in those early days. Liao Chongzhen was one of them, but all traces of him were lost after 1940. This documentary presents the astounding recent findings that shed light on the fate of Mr. Liao who dedicated his life to the service of the Faith and humanity. Thanks to his translations he made available to the Chinese books like 'The Hidden Words' of Bahá'u'lláh etc. He had a correspondence with the Guardian of the Faith, he introduced the Faith to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, and his home was blessed by the visit of two Hands of the Cause. Eighty years after her passing she is still adored by her fans, not only for her movies, but also because they recognize in her amazing qualities, an indomitable spirit and admirable character, boundless generosity and wisdom. She created an atmosphere that everyone felt welcome and equal around her. She accompanied people through the difficult times of their lives. Carole Lombard was a second generation Baha’i.
